Spotlight can monitor a Hyper-V server fulfilling the following requirements.
Hyper-V® 6.2 and above.
If you select to fill in the user and password fields, verify the user has the privileges required to retrieve server information and access WMI.
Ensure any firewall is configured to open TCP port 135.
