Spotlight can monitor a VMware connection to an ESX Server or VirtualCenter server hosting a Windows server.
The following is supported:
- VMware ESX infrastructure. VMware vCenter 2.5 to 6.7. VMware ESXi Server 7.0 and 8.0
The username used to connect to the virtual guest machine must have at least a read-only role.
Ensure any firewall is configured to open TCP port 443.
