The Host value displays the logical Azure SQL server name for the monitored connection. In Azure SQL Database, this is a cloud-based DNS endpoint, such as myserver.database.windows.net. Azure SQL Database does not expose a user-visible host operating system name, and host information cannot be configured by users.
Note: Note: Ensure that the SQL Azure server name is specified in the Connection Properties for the SQL Azure instance. To configure this setting, use the Spotlight Client and navigate to Configure | Connections.
